New York City Museum Creates 9/11 Timeline - Graphic video of the World Trade Center towers collapsing and recordings of victims and survivors are among elements being used in a new online timeline of the events of Sept. 11.

Museum puts 9/11 experience online - NEW YORK (AFP) – The New York museum dedicated to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on Wednesday launched an interactive, blow-by-blow album of the traumatic day.

Starting at 5:45 am with a grainy photo of the first set of hijackers passing through security at Boston airport, the timeline ends at 8:30 pm with then president George W. Bush's address from Ground Zero.

Along the way comes video footage, still photos and voices of victims, firefighters and officials as two hijacked airliners slammed into New York's World Trade Center, a third hit the Pentagon and a fourth crashed in Pennyslvania, killing a total of nearly 3,000 people.
